Sacred Pause Altar Box – Handmade Ancestral Ritual Set (Customizable)

Rev. Tonya D. Jackson, CEO and Founder of A Time for You, LLC, created something for us that is far more than a wedding gift. She created a sacred witness to our love, our ancestry, our becoming, and the house we are building together.

Before she made this altar box, Pastor Tonya took time to listen. She received our story, our names, our roots, the people who walk with us in spirit, our vision for family, faith, legacy, and the meaning of being known as the Sons of Thunder. This was the first altar box she created for a couple, and the care in every detail is beyond evident.

The artwork alone is breathtaking. The ancestral figures, water, fire, sun, moon, roots, trees, home, and sacred symbols all speak. Across the box are the words, “Honor the Past. Live the Present. Build the Future.” It carries our names, Washington-Watterson and Watterson-Washington, along with the declaration, “One House. Many Ancestors. Sacred Becoming.”

Inside, she created space for prayer, memory, protection, reflection, and legacy. There are personalized juju bags, ancestor scrolls, oils, a candle, journals, compasses, meaningful herbs and sacred elements, family names, and even an NFC story component inviting us to hear the altar’s story. Every item was intentional. Every detail spoke to who we are and who we are becoming.

This is not simply a beautifully crafted box. It is an altar, an archive, a prayer, and a living reminder that our love is rooted in something larger than us. This is a family heirloom.
